CEDAR CITY -- Troopers are investigating a deadly crash on Interstate 15 near Cedar City.
It happened in the southbound lanes around 7:30 Thursday night. Troopers say a Suburban went off the road and into the median. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest out of traffic.
The driver, 32-year-old Joanna G. Anderson of Delta, and her daughter, 9-year-old Kayla Anderson, died on the scene.
Three other passengers were taken to the hospital with minor to serious injuries.
Everyone was wearing seat belts.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
