(Rexburg, Idaho-AP) -- A temple being built near the Idaho campus of Brigham Young University will stand on "Rexburg Hill".
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the new site for the temple today. "Rexburg Hill" is located just south of the BYU-Idaho campus on the southwest corner of the intersection of Seventh South and Second East.
The groundbreaking date has yet to be set.
Idaho has two other temples, one in Idaho Falls, and another in Boise.
There are 128 temples existing or slated for construction worldwide.
