(Orem-AP) -- Police are searching for a man suspected of attacking two Orem police officers in 1999 after he failed to appear in court last week.
Twenty-eight-year-old Reinhold Chris Neumann was released from jail on May 21 after posting 50-thousand dollars bail. He did not show up for his preliminary hearing June 4th.
Neumann, who has a previous criminal record, is accused of assaulting an officer and striking another with his S-U-V and dragging him about 40 feet. That officer suffered broken ribs and hip and leg injuries.
Police say Neumann is considered armed and dangerous.
