Shooting Victim Calls Herself 'Lucky'

(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A gas station clerk shot by a gunman last week before he led police on a chase and later killed himself says she's "extremely lucky."

Dee Jensen was robbed and shot last Wednesday night while she was working at a Delle truck stop. Police say the 59-year-old was the second person shot by Richard H. Wilson, who earlier robbed and shot Grantsville laundry worker Kimberli Lingard.

Jensen is out of the hospital and says she's lucky and she had an angel sitting on her shoulder. The bullet hit Jensen's neck, but missed her spine and her jugular vein.

Lingard is still in serious condition in the hospital.

Police believe the shootings were part of a multi-state crime spree, which ended after Wilson led police on a chase where he shot himself to death.
