Bonneville honored their former coach, the late Thom Budge, by winning a defensive battle against Ogden 7-6 Friday night, giving the Tigers their first loss of the season.

Defense was also the key for Riverton as they forced five West Jordan turnovers in a 14-6 Region 3 victory for the Silverwolves.

Juan Diego picked up another win to improve to 6-0 as they defeated Grantsville 35-7. The Soaring Eagle have now won 20 consecutive games. Impressive.

5. Harvey Langi, RB, Bingham
Bingham senior running back Harvey Langi ran for three first quarter touchdowns (69, 50, 19) the Miners' 47-13 win over Kearns.

4. Caden Andersen, TE/DL, Rich
Rich senior Caden Andersen had two rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns as the Rebels beat Altamont 52-14. Andersen also kicked three extra points in the win.

3. Josh Kariya, DL, Davis
Davis senior defensive lineman Josh Kariya recorded four sacks in the Darts 21-17 win over Northridge. Kariya anchored a defensive line that disrupted the high powered Knights offense, holding them scoreless in the second half.

2. Jacob Ihde, RB, Milford
Milford sophomore running back Jacob Ihde ran for four rushing touchdowns in the first quarter and added a fumble recovery for a touchdown in the fourth as the Tigers defeated Whitehorse 63-0.

1. Alex Kuresa, QB, Mountain Crest
Mountain Crest junior quarterback Alex Kuresa threw for over 350 yards and six touchdown passes, four of them to Alex Knowles, as the Mustangs defeated Box Elder 50-17.
