(KSL News) -- Smokers will have to leave Salt Lake City parks to light up.
Salt Lake's City Council tonight approved an ordinance to ban smoking on city parks, trails, light rail stations, public spaces and mass gatherings.
The ordinance allows for a fine of up to $25, much less than a proposed $299 fine.
