(KSL News) Nearly four years ago, the Clark family in Spanish Fork made the decision to adopt a baby from the Marshall Islands. Amazingly enough, that decision has resulted in a total of four adoptions!
Jennifer Groberg says Merrillyn Clark manages to keep her large household-- there are now eight children-- running smoothly, and deserves a High Five for her ability to inspire others.
Our Coco Warner surprised Merrillyn, who was sound asleep.
Coco Warner/Eyewitness News: "Hi Merrillyn! Look at how cute you are. This is part of our High Five segment. Are you familiar with it? We surprise people that are doing great things, and this is Jennifer here. Obviously looks familiar. I'm going to have her tell you why she nominated you. You look gorgeous, by the way."
Jennifer Groberg/ Nominated friend: "You inspire me with your acceptance and your patience, every time I see you. I get emotional just thinking about you, and your husband Kent is so wonderful, and your kids. They are just such a good family. And I love you guys so much. I wish we could spotlight you every day, not like this."
Coco Warner: "This is putting you on the spot. What are you thinking Merrillyn?"
Merrillyn Clark: "That's amazing. But she is an amazing friend because she has taken me under her wing and has just done amazing things for me. Because we've adopted four little kids, and everyone came along. She's right there helping me. And I didn't even know her."
