SOUTH SALT LAKE -- Police have identified one of the two people found frozen to death along the banks of the Jordan River near 2700 South Thursday morning.

South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller says the male victim has been identified as 53-year-old Richard T. Sellers from Midvale. The woman has not been positively identified. The exact cause of death has not been determined.

The bodies were discovered Thursday morning by a man walking his dog. They were covered with a thin sheet of snow, likely victims of Wednesday night's storm.

Police say there were no signs of trauma or foul play.
