(KSL News) A follower of polygamist leader Warren Jeffs goes on trial today in Arizona for sex crimes linked to his alleged marriage to an underage girl.
David Romaine Bateman is accused of fathering a child with the girl.
Bateman and several others in Colorado City were the focus of a raid in May by investigators. Jeffs is in jail, facing two counts of first-degree rape as an accomplice.
He's accused of forcing a girl under the age of 18 to marry an older man.
