SALT LAKE CITY -- A man long suspected and charged with killing a University of Utah student nearly a decade ago, is now back in Utah.
Donald Younge Jr., 42, was facing murder charges in the deaths of 3 women in Illinois, but last month those charges were dismissed.
He was transferred to the Salt Lake County Jail on Saturday. He's charged with the murder of Amy Quinton, a drama student at the U. She was 22 at the time of her death in 1999.
Younge is charged with breaking into her apartment stabbing Quinton and one of her roommates.
Younge also faces rape charges involving a University of Utah student in 1996.
