Academy Award-winning director ROBERT ALTMAN will pen a memoir about his experiences as a film-maker.
The book, A DIRECTOR'S LIFE: PERSONAL STORIES ABOUT THE PROCESS OF MAKING MOVIES, will deal with the complete film-making process.
Altman has directed 39 movies including, A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION, GOSFORD PARK, NASHVILLE, MASH and THE LONG GOODBYE.
In 2006, he received the Honorary Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The book is tentatively scheduled to be published in Autumn 2007. (SS/U/ES)
