KSL News) -- There are several things you can do to prevent SPAM.
Most important, don't display your e-mail address in public.
Spammers routinely collect addresses from -web pages, chat rooms and online directories.
Consider using software to filter e-mails. Several internet providers already have settings that allow you to avoid getting unwanted messages.
Check a web site's privacy policy before you submit your e-mail.
And forward unwanted or deceptive e-mails to the government.
