LOS ANGELES — The Minnesota Timberwolves have shored up some depth for their push for the playoffs by signing guard Jaylen Clark to a new contract that makes him eligible for the postseason. The Wolves also signed guard Bones Hyland to a two-way deal. Clark was on a two-way deal that was converted to a standard contract through next season. He has emerged as a breakout performer in recent weeks with several regulars injured after sitting out his rookie season while recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Hyland was a 2021 first-round draft pick who played this season for the Los Angeles Clippers.
