PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid sat out again Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic. There's a chance the oft-injured center could play Friday when the Sixers again play the Magic. Sixers coach Nick Nurse said the team hasn't considered shutting down Embiid for an extended period. Embiid has played only four games this season because of knee injuries and a suspension for pushing a sports writer. He hasn't played since Nov. 20 and missed the last six games. Nine-time All-Star Paul George also sat out against Orlando a night after he scored a season-high 29 points against Charlotte.
