KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sports fans in Kansas City had their attention divided Monday night with the Royals playing the Saints in Game 2 of their AL Division Series at the same time as the Chiefs were playing the Saints on Monday Night Football. The first pitch in New York was scheduled for about an hour before kickoff, which means the game would be in about the third inning by that point. The Royals dropped the series opener Saturday night. Game 3 will be played in Kansas City on Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium, which sits a couple of hundred yards across the parking lot from Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Chiefs.
