SARATOGA SPRINGS — A 75-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car while a crossing a street in Saratoga Springs.
About 8:30 a.m. Monday, the woman was crossing at the intersection of Cozy Lane and Floribunda Drive when she was hit by a car that was turning south, the Utah County Sheriff's Office said.
The woman was critically injured in the accident and flown to a hospital but died shortly after arriving. Her identity has not been released.
The driver is a 44-year-old woman who is an employee for the city, so police asked the county sheriff's office to investigate the crash.
