Alabama and Iowa State are now top-four seeds in The Associated Press' College Football Playoff bracket projection, with Texas getting a first-round home game rather than a bye and Utah losing its bye and knocked off the bracket. Top-ranked Alabama is the No. 1 seed as the projected Southeastern Conference champion. Ohio State of the Big Ten is the No. 2 seed, Miami remains the No. 3 seed out of the Atlantic Coast Conference and Iowa State would be the No. 4 seed as the highest-ranked team from the Big 12.
