BEDTIME — As parents are helping young kids plan Halloween costumes, it's important to remember those costumes are not just for one night a year. As a child, every day is a great day to wear a costume.
In this cute video, a dad explained he relented to letting his daughters wear costumes as pajamas — but his younger daughter did not pick the type of costume he might have been thinking about when he agreed.
The video starts with his older daughter, who picked a costume that is "kind of like jammies" — an Elsa dress that looks like it could have been designed as a nightgown. Then he pans to his younger daughter.
When these sisters wanted to wear costumes to bed instead of pajamas, their dad allowed them to pick their own outfits—which for one, was a hot dog. https://t.co/M5jmpcBdJFpic.twitter.com/eIKKI1IC3L

You can hear the dad chuckle as he says what she is wearing — "so she's a hot dog." Neither daughter seems to find the situation quite as funny as their father.
In all honesty, it looks like a really comfortable hot dog costume. It's basically a sleeping bag with cooling holes for arms and feet. I hope this hot dog costume led to a faster bedtime for this engaged dad.
Although this video was put on YouTube a few years ago, it has resurfaced on other social media sites.
This isn't the first out-of-place hot dog costume to appear online, a photo of a 5-year-old in a hot dog costume for her dance class dress like a princess day will also make you smile.
