In the words of "Parks and Recreation's" Tom Haverford, sometimes you just have to "treat yo self." From the iconic ski peaks of Park City to the stunning red rocks of Southern Utah, Utah isn't just about breathtaking landscapes and outdoor adventures — it's also home to some of the most luxurious hotels you'll ever step foot in.

Whether you're looking to splurge on a dreamy ski-in/ski-out chalet or an opulent desert retreat, these top-tier accommodations will make you feel like royalty — for a price. So pack your bags, apply for that platinum card and get ready to enjoy the crème de la crème of Utah's hotel scene, where luxury knows no bounds — other than your credit limit.

Read on for a tour of some of Utah's swankiest and most expensive hotel room stays.

St. Regis Deer Valley, Park City

With a city so renowned for its art, ski and film culture, it's not surprising that some of the very best and priciest hotel rooms are found in Park City. The St. Regis Deer Valley resort is at the top of that list.

Winter or summer, a stay here is akin to a wonderland of pure luxury. Some of the incredible features include six fine dining establishments, an opulent spa and a heated, year-round infinity pool. Oh, and of course there are a few of the best hot tubs you'll ever relax in.

So what's the cost? More than $6,000 per night during peak times during the holiday season. Too rich for your blood? Try staying in the offseason and you might find standard rooms in the upper $400 range.

Amangiri, Canyon Point

If you ever get the once-in-two-lifetimes opportunity to stay at Amangiri, you'll never forget it. This literal oasis in the middle of the Southern Utah desert is unlike any other hotel in Utah and perhaps even the country. It's tranquil, quiet and a true escape from the outside world. It's no wonder it's a celebrity favorite.

Whether it's lounging by a sleek, stone-framed pool that seamlessly blends with the landscape, or indulging in a spa treatment inspired by Navajo healing traditions or enjoying the gourmet dining (included in your room price) — every moment at Amangiri feels like the perfect blend of desert nature and lavish, modern appointments. Rooms start at $3,700 per night and cost more than $8,000 per night depending on dates and room selection.

Waldorf Astoria, Park City

If just saying the name, "Waldorf Astoria" sounds luxurious, that's because it is! This stunning hotel in Park City offers a seamless blend of alpine charm and refined elegance that's impossible not to love. With cozy fireplaces, pine trees and mountain views, this hotel spares no expense in showcasing Utah's great outdoors. Oh, and its world-class, award-winning spa isn't too shabby either.

Prices range from $500 to more than $8,000 per night depending on room and date selection.

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Park City

It might just be 35 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport, but The Lodge at Blue Sky feels like a world away. Think of it as a type of Amangiri resort but in the mountains instead of the desert.

This secluded resort encompasses 3,500 acres of private land where you can enjoy activities like fly fishing, yoga, horseback riding, trap shooting, hiking and even farming. That's right, for two hours and $250 per guest, you can carry out farm chores such as planting seeds, irrigating crops, transplanting vegetables and more. If getting back to your mountain roots — no pun intended — while relaxing in luxury is what you're after, The Lodge at Blue Sky is the best ticket in town.

Speaking of tickets, rooms start at just over $1,600 per night and can cost more than $7,600 per night depending on room and date selection.

Washington School House Hotel, Park City

Housed in one of the last remaining original schoolhouses in the country, the Washington School House Hotel is one of the more unique luxury stays in the state. The hotel, also a nationally registered historical landmark, perfectly blends history and luxury and is nestled in an intimate and exclusive setting unlike any other. There are only seven rooms, so if you want to stay, you'll probably need to plan, especially with the hotel's minimum two-night stay.

With its convenient setting just above Park City's vibrant Main Street, this is an experience you need to have at least once in your life. Back-to-school night, indeed.

Rooms start around $500 per night and can be upwards of $2,000 per night depending on dates and room selection.

Stein Eriksen Lodge, Deer Valley

A list of luxury stays would only be complete with mentioning the iconic Stein Eriksen Lodge. This respected resort is always a favorite with its top-tier luxury, amenities and year-round access to the slopes.

Situated in the heart of Deer Valley, Stein Eriksen, and its Scandinavian design is a sanctuary of comfort and luxury, especially after a full day of adventure. It's one of the best mountain retreats in the state, and absolutely deserving of its beloved reputation.

Rooms range from about $500 to $6,000 or more per night depending on room selection and dates.
