ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Minnesota Twins have placed Max Kepler on the 10-day disabled list with left patellar tendinitis. Outfielder DaShawn Keirsey Jr. was selected from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Kepler on the 28-man roster. Kepler missed the four-game series against Tampa Bay after being scratched from the lineup on Monday. This is his second stint on the injured list this season. Kepler is hitting .253 with eight home runs and 42 RBIs for the Twins. Keirsey is being called up to the majors for the first time after hitting .292 with 14 home runs and stealing 36 bases in 103 games at St. Paul.
