MOAB — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday afternoon when he crashed into a truck while pulling out of Arches National Park.
The motorcyclist was exiting Arches National Park in Moab and turning left to head south on state Route 191 when he "failed to yield to traffic and merged lanes," Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Luis Silva said.
The rider crashed into a Ram 3500 pickup truck that was pulling a horse trailer, Silva said. Initially, police said the biker was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but later it was confirmed the biker only suffered minor injuries.
The two occupants of the truck were uninjured in the crash.
