NOSTALGIA — While sitting in front of the television watching classic cartoons such as "Tom and Jerry," it's easy to get lost in the storyline or the nostalgia.

The storylines and old-school creation can bring back memories of Saturday mornings or watching a quick show before the school bus arrived. Modern-day cartoons are often created digitally, using technology to create the images and sounds.

In this video, a sound artist shows another side of creating shows or movies. Using instruments, everyday objects and perfected timing, he recreates the soundtrack to an episode of the childhood classic "Tom and Jerry." It creates a fun contrast to the episode playing beside the artist, lending a different view of how sounds are created behind the scenes of the television.
