ATLANTA — Oneil Cruz and Rowdy Tellez hit two-run homers in the fifth inning and the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Atlanta Braves 4-2 to avoid a three-game sweep. Pirates left fielder Bryan Reynolds' 25-game hitting streak ended. It was the longest streak in the majors this season. Cruz's homer traveled 452 feet and reached the right field seats quickly with a listed exit velocity of 117.3 mph. Schwellenbach walked Edward Olivares before Tellez hit his fourth homer off the right field foul pole. Left-hander Bailey Falter allowed only one run in five innings despite four walks.
