Utah's entrance into warmer days serves as a call to action for many not only within the state, but across the country. Outdoor enthusiasts will prepare their off-road vehicles for upcoming rides, camping trips and adventures to destinations like Moab, the Uintas and Monte Cristo.

Machines from Polaris' RZR, General, XPEDITION, Ranger and Sportsman lines will fill these areas. The manufacturer, now 70 years-old, has a loyal following of enthusiasts who love these exciting, quality machines.

For those looking to upgrade their off-road adventure, here are three Polaris vehicles that Young Powersports believes will help you think outside this year:

RZR XP

Polaris' decade-old RZR XP line received several updates last year. The 2024 versions of the side-by-side provide riders with comfortable seats, a sporty exterior and an engine capable of generating 114 horsepower — making it even more trail ready.

"Few companies know how to make improvements to their machines quite like Polaris," Jeramie Young, Young Powersports director said. "The old XPs were great machines, but these ones take the experience to a new level. They offer a smoother, more comfortable and more capable ride."

The RZR XP is known for its versatility, coming equipped with needle shocks from Walker Evans Racing, full skid plates and 29 inch tires. Polaris also offers several accessories for the machine, opening opportunities for customization.

XPEDITION

Launched in 2023, the Polaris XPEDITION has already become one of the manufacturers staple vehicles. Coming stock with an enclosed cab as well as a lock and ride MAX cargo system, the XPEDITION was designed to help riders haul equipment. The machine not only has a 47 inch box that's capable of holding up to 600 pounds, but a 2,000 pound towing capacity as well.

Prospective riders will also notice the XPEDITION's capabilities on the trail. The machine comes with 30-inch Pro Armor Crawler XP tires, 14 inches of ground clearance and a 1,000 cc engine capable of generating 114 horsepowers.

"Polaris made this machine for overlanding," Young said. "What I love most about the XPEDITION are the available accessories. You can buy racks for bikes and kayaks as well as an overhead tent. These machines are great for anyone looking to make the most of their off-road adventure."

Ranger XP 1000

For 25 years now, the Polaris Ranger line has epitomized the work hard, play hard mentality. Today's Ranger XP 1000 has three and six-seat options available — both equipped with 11 inches of suspension travel, 28 inch tires and LED headlights.

Those needing to haul items have access to a nearly 37-inch wide box, which is capable of carrying 1,000 pounds. The Ranger's tow hitch rating is also listed at 2,500 pounds.

"While many look at it as a work vehicle, the Ranger offers a fun ride," Young said. "A lot of owners love the plush interior, and the engine can produce 82 horsepowers. It's capable of getting off the line quickly, and being something fun for not just the cabin, but the trail as well."

Six of Young Powersports eight locations sell Polaris vehicles, and one is trying something new. This summer, Young Powersports Morgan will offer their rental service.

Located on 100 South in Morgan, Utah, the dealership will provide renters with access to Polaris ATV's, side-by-sides and snowmobiles.

"There's so much growth currently happening in the powersports space," Alex Poll, Young Powersports Morgan's general manager said. "People are looking for new ways to explore the outdoors. With this rental service, we're hoping to provide prospective riders with an avenue that lets them find the right machine for their needs."

The service is expected to become available at other locations across Young Powersports in the future. Visit the link to find a vehicle available for rent.
