WEST JORDAN — One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Mountain View Corridor in West Jordan on Monday.

West Jordan Police Sgt. Kendall Holt said a pickup truck and small SUV collided at 9000 South and Mountain View Corridor just after noon.

A passenger in the SUV was killed in the accident. The person's identity has not been released.

Northbound lanes of the highway and part of 9000 South were closed for almost five hours while the scene was processed.

Holt said there was no suspicious activity suspected, and the cause has not yet been determined.
