PHILADELPHIA — Ranger Suárez pitched six strong innings, Whit Merrifield homered and the streaking Philadelphia Phillies routed the San Francisco Giants 14-3 on Saturday night. Kyle Schwarber, Johan Rojas and Bryson Stott each drove in two runs, and every starter had at least one hit for Philadelphia. The Phillies have won 15 of 18, and their 23 victories are the most in the majors. The win was dampened a bit by news prior to the contest that shortstop Trea Turner will miss at least six weeks with a left hamstring strain. And third baseman Alec Bohm departed in the third inning due to left hip tightness that occurred during his second-inning at-bat when he extended his hitting streak to 17 consecutive games with a single.
