SWEDEN — Garbage cans are nasty places.

I remember one time in high school I was walking down the hallway and noticed a cardboard tube sticking out of a fully loaded garbage can. Absentmindedly, I pulled the tube out so that I could begin swinging it around like a sword. Bad idea.

As soon as the tube was extracted from the garbage can, a horrible smell filled the air. I looked at the bottom end of the tube and it was covered with a strange slime. And, wow, the slime smelled so awful that it almost knocked me off my feet. I couldn't imagine what was occurring in that garbage can that could produce such a horrific result.

Rather than put the cardboard tube back into the garbage can, I carried it down the hall to conduct some experiments. I saw a friend standing by his locker and dared him to smell the slime. He gave me a confused look but obliged.

The poor guy immediately began dry-heaving.

Once he regained his senses, he excitedly joined me as we went looking for a new victim. We soon noticed another friend loitering near the gym, and dared him to sniff the toxic slime. He seemed completely unconcerned by the threat and grabbed the cardboard tube from my hand. Placing the slime mere centimeters from his nose, he inhaled deeply.

Sadly, Brock wasn't as tough as he thought he was. The garbage can slime hit him full force and he had to run to the nearest garbage can, where he promptly lost his lunch.

Now, I realize this is kind of a gross story, but I couldn't help but think about it when I saw this video.

I'm not sure why this Swedish woman felt the need to stick her head into a garbage can, but as someone who has experienced the full fury of what a trash can can do, I immediately knew it was a bad idea.

Fortunately, this woman's quick thinking and killer dance moves enabled her to escape the garbage can before it was too late.
