OGDEN — A 54-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed Friday in a car crash.

Ogden police said a motorcyclist was traveling north on Wall Avenue about 5:30 p.m. A car was heading south on Wall Avenue and preparing to make a left turn onto 9th Street.

Police said the car did not see the motorcyclist and made the left turn, where he was struck by the motorcycle.

The man riding the motorcycle sustained "major injuries." The man was taken to a hospital but later died. His identity has not been released.

Police said impairment is not suspected, but the accident is being investigated.
