Police identify 14-year-old girl killed in Uintah County ATV accident

JENSEN, Uintah County — Police have identified the 14-year-old girl who died Monday while driving an ATV that went off the shoulder of the roadway and rolled onto its side.

First responders were called at approximately 2:20 p.m. to 6500 East and 6750 South. The Uintah County Sheriff's Office said that Addie Oldham of Jensen, Uintah County, was driving westbound on 6750 South in a side-by-side when it went off the road, landing on its side and leaving the girl with fatal injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, according to the Uintah County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office extended its condolences to the family of the victim.
