Watch out, Salt Lake — Riverton is coming for you. Over the past year, the premier mixed-use lifestyle center, Mountain View Village, has been drawing people 25 miles south of downtown Salt Lake thanks to its vast offering of must-visit shops and restaurants. The project is part of a 600-acre master development plan that will bring increased residential, office, and retail development to the area.
A year ago, Mountain View Village celebrated its second phase with ribbon cuttings, the opening of the Cinemark and XD Theater, and fun, free family events and fireworks. Aside from those festivities, shoppers enjoy daily entertainment via the show fountain and the G Glass display with its integrated animation.
Since July marked Mountain View Village's one-year celebration of phase two, here's a look back on everything that's happened since the doors opened.

32 retail stores and restaurants opened with more to come
It's safe to say that whatever you're shopping for or craving, Mountain View Village has it. Among the 32 retailers and restaurants to hit the scene, you'll find an impressive array of national and local favorites. These include:
- Altar'd State/Arula
- Free People
- Anthropologie
- Pandora
- Sephora
- Zumiez
- Rumble Boxing Gym
- Upgrade Labs
- Kokonut Island Grill
- Toastique.
And don't forget Beauty Lab + Laser, which is owned by Real Housewives of Salt Lake star, Heather Gray.
Visit the Mountain View Village website for a full list of dining and shopping options.
A brand new way to enjoy date night
If live entertainment, Mexican-inspired food and a transportive experience sound enticing, be sure to check out Las Botellas. Described as "part Miami, part Las Vegas'' in style, ambiance, service and entertainment, this first-to-market concept is unlike anything you've likely experienced before.
Developed and brought to life by businessman Aaron Wagner and Wags Capital, Las Botellas includes high-end Mexican-inspired food and entertainment, including live music, fire dancers, aerial artists and more. Never again will you have to wonder what to do for a date night or some weekend fun!
Stay tuned for more
Just in case you're not already satisfied with Mountain View Village's current lineup of foodie favorites and popular shops, don't worry — there's more to come. Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar, a full-service restaurant and bar featuring flavorful dishes made from fresh, regional ingredients is on its way. Add to that WildFin American Grill and Kona Grill, which is opening at the end of July.

Here are more additions that are coming soon:
- Panera Bread
- Shake Shack
- Asher Golf
- Ivy & Varley
- Maize Tacos
- Sherwin Williams.
And that list is going to keep growing, so stay tuned.
