WATCHING THE NFL — Thursday night marks the return of the NFL.
So how do fans prepare for such a wonderful occasion?
Well, for one group, it was a trip to Punta Cana for their fantasy football draft. They stayed in an all-inclusive resort, got someone to video the trip, and even had a green jacket ceremony for last year's winner.

Yeah, that puts my late-night online draft just a bit to shame. Always next year.
If such a trip is not in your budget — or you don't have that many obsessive friends — you could follow the lead of actor Patrick Renna.

Renna, who is better known around these parts as Ham Porter from "The Sandlot," did some choreographed dances to each of the league's broadcasting partner's theme songs.
The result? Well, you might be hyped, or you might be saying, "You're killing me, Smalls." Regardless, the commitment is impressive.
Oh, and if you needed a recap of all the craziness since the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl, CBS Sports came up with this chuckler. Football is back.
