BOUNTIFUL — Two people were injured in separate incidents in Bountiful on Thursday that police believe were related.

Police received a call at 6:42 p.m. about an incident at Mueller Park, and when Davis County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, they found a person who appeared to have been stabbed. That person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to a tweet from police.

Shortly after the first incident, police received another report of an assault at a Bountiful business. A person was taken to the hospital after that incident in stable condition.

The Davis County Sheriff's Office tweeted that officers "do not believe there is a current public safety threat."
