THE SKATE PARK — If you can skateboard, your coolness factor immediately rises about 52%. There have been multiple studies to prove this. It's just science. Please stop fighting it.

I never caught on, despite my efforts. Skinned knees, bruised tailbones and scratched palms is all I ever got out of skateboarding. Not the coolness factor. I did get pretty darn good at rollerblading. I did it for hours every day and loved spending time at a halfpipe or riding stairs. If you were into blading, you know what I mean.

Turns out rollerblading did not have the same staying power and cool component as skateboarding. So, it didn't work out for me, but it did for Cony Hawk.

Who is Cony Hawk you ask? He's just the next big thing in skateboarding. According to the YouTube description, Cony hails from Escondido, Calif., and he's got some sick moves. The dude rides that board like a natural, and it won't be long before you see his mug on the newest "Tony Hawk" video game.

Yes, I know it's just a cone, people. But in order to make me feel better about the fact that an inanimate object is far better at skateboarding than I ever could be, it's better to pretend it's real.

Anyway, enjoy Cony Hawk's sick moves and I'm going to go strap on my blades.
