Mary Richards reporting A group of refinery, petroleum, and government officials are meeting this afternoon to talk about Utah's historic high gas prices, and what makes this market different than other areas.

Many Utahns say it's about time something was done about how much they are paying at the pump. People who spoke to KSL Newsradio were filling their tanks for anywhere between $36 to $84. Robert Parrington says filling his entire tank would break the bank, but he's confident Gov. John Huntsman will do something about the high prices.

A check of Utah shows gas prices range anywhere from $2.72 in Bountiful, to $3.12 in Salina.

Earlier this story incorrectly indicated that Governor Huntsman was to be present at this meeting. That information was incorrect. We apologize for the error.
