CEDAR CITY — Southbound I-15 lanes have reopened in Iron County after a crash involving a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle, Utah Highway Patrol officials said.

UHP Lt. Nick Street said the crash happened Wednesday afternoon just south of Cedar City. The passenger car rolled, pinning one person inside, and a medical helicopter was called to help.

According to Street, southbound I-15 was shut down at Kanaraville. The lanes were reopened about 5:24 p.m., according to Street.

Further information was not released.
