SALT LAKE CITY — Two men were shot during an argument with a third man in Salt Lake City overnight.

The three were arguing in an outside area near 115 S. 300 East about 12:20 a.m. Friday, said Salt Lake police detective Marie Stewart. What they were arguing about was not released Friday.

The argument culminated with one of the men pulling out a gun and shooting the other two, she said. One man was shot in the back and the other had both legs shot. Both were taken to local hospitals with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, she said.

Detectives say they know the identity of the gunman and continued to look for him Friday.
