MURRAY — A man and a woman were found dead in a Murray home on Tuesday evening, according to Murray City Police Department.

Murray police officer Taylor Blauer said that officers responded to a welfare check that the families of the individuals had called in after not hearing from the two people for several days. Police entered the home to find a man and woman dead and a firearm on the scene, according to Blauer.

Blauer said that the investigation is active and the identities of the individuals, who were both in their 50s according to the Deseret News, are not yet being released.
