LAYTON — Northbound I-15 has reopened at Layton Parkway after a medical incident caused a closure Monday evening, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

As of 7 a.m., the highway had reopened, according to UDOT's Commuterlink website.
The closure started about 9:30 p.m. Monday at Layton Parkway and continued after midnight before being reopened. Drivers were being asked to seek an alternate route.
Utah Highway Patrol confirmed later that the medical incident was a suicide. Further details were not released.
