At tonight's game, the Utah Jazz and Kyle Korver collected more than 800 jackets in a coat drive at EnergySolutions Arena. Fans attending the Jazz vs. Thunder game brought new coats for donation to the Utah Dream Center and Salt Lake CAP Head Start.
"I am extremely happy with the success of the coat drive and am very impressed with the generosity of Utah Jazz fans. Partnering with fans to give back to our community provides me with the opportunity to connect with some of my most ardent supporters," said Korver.
With every coat donated, a voucher was issued that admitted two individuals into a private postgame autograph session with Kyle Korver. Korver signed complimentary photos provided by the team or a personal item if the fan preferred.
Korver will deliver the coats to the Salt Lake CAP Head Start and Utah Dream Center when he returns from the upcoming Jazz road trip.
