SALT LAKE CITY — Two men were injured in a shooting at 308 W. North Temple on Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
Officers responded to the SkyHouse apartment complex shortly after 11 a.m. and discovered two people had been shot, according to Salt Lake Police Sgt. Keith Horrocks.
One man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, Horrocks said. The other man was in serious but stable condition and was taken to a different hospital, he added.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and there was no risk to public safety, Horrocks said.
Police are still trying to piece together information on what happened. Horrocks said they’re looking for someone in connection with the shooting, but it was not clear if there was a third person involved.
He did not yet have a description or any other information about the person they are looking for.
Horrocks said there is a crime scene on two different levels of the apartment building, and it is not known if any people in the apartment complex witnessed the shooting.
