CEDAR BREAKS NATIONAL MONUMENT, Utah (AP) — Cedar Breaks National Monument and the main road through it are scheduled to open Tuesday after being closed due to late spring snow accumulation.
While the monument and Scenic Road 148 will open Tuesday, monument officials said visitor facilities, restrooms and ranger programs are not scheduled to be available until Friday.
Officials said snow still covers all park trails and overlooks have patches of ice and snow so visitors are advised to use caution and to heed all posted signs.
