NORTH OGDEN — Two children were killed and two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle car crash in North Ogden Tuesday morning, police said.

A white Chrysler drifted into oncoming traffic about 8:30 a.m. while southbound on 400 East near 1750 North, according to North Ogden police detective Paul Rhoades. The Chrysler crashed head-on into a silver Toyota where a 13-year-old boy and his 11-year-old sister were passengers. The siblings died later Tuesday.

The driver of the Toyota is currently in surgery after sustaining injuries in the crash, and the driver of the Chrysler suffered broken bones, Rhoades said.

Police have not released details about the third car involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash and the names of the victims have also not yet been released.
