NORTH SALT LAKE — Motorists faced a slow commute Monday morning in Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties due to several crashes that closed I-15 at points.
In Utah County, multiple rollover accidents closed southbound I-15 near 800 North in Orem shortly before 7, according to KSL Newsradio.
The interstate reopened but delays remained, Utah Department of Transportation officials said on Twitter around 9:10 a.m.

Near downtown Salt Lake, the onramp from 500 South to go south on I-15 was closed due to an accident.

Earlier, a jackknifed semitruck closed eastbound I-215 in Davis County. The semitruck was driving in snowy conditions on I-215 approaching the I-15 interchange when it jackknifed. All lanes of traffic on eastbound I-215 were blocked, UDOT officials said on Twitter at about 5:10 a.m.

Slick conditions were reported in many other areas along the Wasatch Front and UDOT urged motorists to use caution.
