(KSL News) An arrest has been made in connection with an auto pedestrian accident that killed a woman in Ogden.
Mary Deets was struck by a car and killed while trying to cross Harrison Boulevard in July. On Wednesday, Aaron Derrick Summerhill was booked into the Weber County jail on investigation of third-degree felony automobile homicide.
Investigators say that after the crash, Summerhill left the scene but later returned. He told police he had tried to avoid hitting Deets then fled out of panic.
Toxicology reports showed he was under the influence of cocaine and alcohol.
