(KSL News) An Amber Alert issued for a Las Vegas boy has been expanded to include Utah.

Nevada police say 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger was taken from his home Wednesday by two men who knocked on the door indicating they were police. Once inside, the men tied up the boy's mother and her friend and took the boy.

Police say they believe the kidnapping was related the involvement of family members in a drug operation.

One suspect is described as being in his 30s, having an Hispanic accent and black, shoulder-length hair.

Cole is 3 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 48 pounds and has distinctly stained front teeth. He has blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police.
