SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Latest on a California prosecutor and son of a Watergate figure facing child pornography charges (all times local):

A California deputy attorney general who's the son of Watergate burglar G. Gordon Liddy has pleaded not guilty to possessing child pornography.
Raymond Liddy entered the plea Tuesday in San Diego and is free on bond. He's been placed on administrative leave.
Liddy, who's 53, has been a state prosecutor since 2008.
The San Diego Union-Tribune (http://bit.ly/2v19O4l) says the investigation began with tips to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children from two internet service providers, who said a user had uploaded what appeared to be child porn.
Investigators say they tracked the activity to Liddy's home in Coronado.
Liddy's father was convicted of burglary and other crimes for arranging the burglary of Democratic National Committee headquarters in 1972, which eventually led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

A California deputy attorney general has been charged in San Diego with possession of child pornography.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports Raymond Joseph Liddy pleaded not guilty and was released on $100,000 bond. The attorney general's office said Wednesday it is aware of the matter and that the 53-year-old Liddy was placed on administrative leave.
The newspaper reported that the complaint said an electronic service provider sent a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January that a user had uploaded an image that appeared to be child porn. A month later another provider sent a similar tip to the organization.
Local and federal authorities said they traced the activity to Liddy's home, where a search uncovered photos on a computer and thumb drive of minors engaged in sexual conduct.
