(KSL News) Kids at one elementary school are telling their parents that they have no homework, and they're not lying.
Students at Roy Elementary are now getting homework credit for things like a well-balanced meal, a neighborhood game of soccer and getting to bed on time.
Principal Linda Anderson tells the Standard Examiner traditional homework for younger students is "mostly ineffective," so they're asking parents to make sure kids spend their time being kids.
