CASTLE VALLEY, Grand County — A man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle on state Route 128.
According to a statement from the Utah Highway Patrol, the 56-year old man was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle east along SR-128 when he somehow lost control and crashed just west of the highway's junction with La Sal Loop Road.
The man was talking with witnesses, the statement said, "but he collapsed and was unresponsive as medical arrived on scene."
CPR was performed, but the man died on scene.
The UHP statement said the man was wearing a helmet but had previous medical problems that may have played a role in his death.
