(KSL News) -- Ogden's City Council voted tonight to void a pay standard for firefighters and police officers.
The pay standard made it difficult for police and firefighters to receive merit pay increases. To protest it, many officers earlier this summer called in sick with the "blue flu".
The city council addressed the issue to deal with a dispute between police officers and Mayor Matthew Godfrey.
Only one member of the city council voted against rescinding the measure.
