OBERHOFEN, Switzerland (AP) — The International Ski Federation says Lillehammer will replace Russia as host of two men's ski jumping World Cup events in December.

FIS says the 1994 Olympic venue in Norway will stage the Dec. 10-11 competitions in addition to its scheduled meeting on March 14.

The Russian venue of Nizhny Tagil was removed from the men's World Cup calendar last month.

FIS says it took that decision "because a required wind net was not installed and prize money for the athletes was not paid on time."

Women's ski jumping World Cup events will still go ahead in Nizhny Tagil on the December dates.
